Removing a Subject From a Vehicle is Like a Multi-Dimensional Chess Match

Would You Like To Learn To Win At It, Once and For All?

Removing Subjects from vehicles has always been a problem, and it only keeps getting more complicated.

Would you like to learn a method that makes the complex simple? That even teaches an instructor how to teach this skill set in under 4 hours of in-service training time?

Then read on...

Why Subject Removal From Vehicles Is So Difficult:

Too Many Variables, All Changing In Real Time

Think about it...

Is the subject alone, or are there other passengers inside? Is there a child or infant present?

Is the subject belted in? Are they holding on to any of the multiple handles within their reach?

Are you alone or are there other officers present? And if so, are they on the same page?

Do you use your less than lethal tools? Has it risen to that level yet or not?

Those are just a few of the variables, each one adding an exponential layer of complexity.

Here is the logic-flow:

The more Variables you have in any scenario, the more complex that scenario is.

The greater the complexity, the more options for response are required.

The more options required equals more techniques necessary to be proficient in.

And the more techniques necessary means greater training time allotted, which few of us actually have.

Yes, Everyone Knows It's a Challenging Situation.

So What Are We To Do?

Complex Scenarios Require Two Attributes To Manage and Solve Them Safely

  1. The situation must be framed in a way that is simple to comprehend, and...
  2. The responses must be trained the same way an electrician manages a downed power line, in a sequenced order of priority, managing the most dangerous aspects first and moving towards a resolution.

And all of this with a calm hand and a steady head.

That's All Fine and Good, But How Can This Be Trained?

This is how we will help you to solve this problem

This really is a training problem.

Not simply a "what to train" problem, but a HOW to train problem.

Once a clear mental map has been created in your students (start with A, then move to B, etc.), then you can move through each problem by priority.

If problem A doesn't exist, then move to B. Once that is solved check for C. Does that exist? If not, then move to D.

This method is much easier to apply than you think. Each priority can be identified and checked off in a millisecond if it's not present.

However, it will give your officers the same playbook to work off of, as well as keep everyone calm and steady. Being methodical will always be judged as prudent.
