How Would You Like To Resolve 95% Of Your Handcuffing Difficulties Forever?
If you could have a teach a simple formula for getting a subject under control quickly, and then apply your handcuffs in a safe a reliable fashion without causing a PR nightmare, would that solve more than a few of your subject control related headaches?
The question remains...unless an officer has help or is physically 3 weight classes above the subject, why is one on one handcuffing such a problem? And why hasn't it been solved in a Serviceable way already?
If you've ever wondered about this then read on. The answer is so simple it might surprise you.
Assumptions; Why Handcuffing Is So Difficult
Have you ever wondered why some things in life seem so challenging?
The truth of the matter is that most things are not that hard to solve. The difficult part is looking for and then finding your blind-spot, the thing that you're assuming is true which actually isn't.
And the assumption which prevents most instructors from resolving the handcuffing dilemma is simple:
We are assuming that officers can dominate the Scramble and effect a successful Pin.
The Solution:
Dominate the Scramble and Acquire a Pin
First, a quick definition...
The Scramble is a wrestling term. It is generally used to describe that situation where 2 competitors initially hit the mat but neither has established a dominant or controlling position. By the natural laws of physics, one competitor must dominate the scramble prior to even attempting a pin.
Does that sound similar to a common subject control situation?
Now a Few Simple Questions...
Can you see the blind-spot now? That is the first step toward successful realization.
So How Will This Class Solve The Problem?
Once the blind spot has been accepted as the real problem, the solution becomes obvious. And this is what this class will solve.
First, on Day 1, we will identify the 3 primary Scramble frames of reference, and the key 3 ways to dominate those frames.
Once we have that down, on Day 2 we will show you the highest percentage reversals and pinning combinations, but only the ones which comply with current LE strictures, especially those which revolve around positional asphyxiation.
On Day 3 we will wrap up this process by showing you how to effect the handcuffing WITHOUT opening yourself to losing the Pin and having to start the whole process over again.
Question 1:
If you could Dominate the Scramble as surely and confidently as you can effect a Snapdown to the Front Headlock, would that be an asset to your subject control toolbox?
Question 2:
And if you could hit a safe Pin and get the cuffs on your subject as fast and as certain as you can perform a Knee-Block and Ankle Pick, wouldn't that be a good thing?
A Few Ground Flows = High Impact Results
Just as any CD-1 graduate can "flow" from one Anchor Point to another, to from any Gateway to any other position while simultaneously being able to disengage at will, you will learn a few high percentage Ground Flows that even your most challenged officers can get their minds (and bodies) around.
If ever there were a class of Ground Domination Made Simple, then this is is. And yes, it actually applies to Law Enforcement.
Don't Miss This Training Opportunity!
I enjoyed the course. The focus on one main technique and it's various applications was very beneficial. It gave me something useful to take back to my Department.
